It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always something to look at out the window. We handle mineral products here, so the place is set up for moving and storing that kind of material. It isn't a glossy office; it’s more of a workspace where we get our hands a bit dirty. The floors are concrete and the desks are old, but it works for us. We’ve been at this spot for some time, and the locals around the chowk know our faces. We usually start the day with a cup of tea from the stall nearby before we dive into the logs and orders. There is a lot of back and forth with suppliers and transport people. Nandai is a practical neighborhood, and we fit right in with the other businesses along the road. We don't use any fancy systems, just a lot of lists and checking things twice. Some days the dust from the minerals gets on everything, but that’s just part of the trade we’re in. We keep our hours regular and try to finish up before the evening rush at the chowk gets too bad. It’s a decent way to spend the day, working with the earth’s materials right here in our own corner of town.
