Starex Minerals

You can find us over at Block No 20/A, Plot No 10 on Gurudwara Road. Starex Minerals is located right in Nehru Nagar West in Bhilai. We are pretty close to the big water tank, which is the easiest way to explain where we are if someone is lost. The office is a simple one on the ground floor. Being in Bhilai, we are surrounded by a lot of industrial activity, and our work with minerals fits right in. The road outside can get fairly busy with trucks and motorcycles, especially since the Gurudwara is nearby. Inside, it is mostly quiet, with a few of us handling the orders and talking to the site managers. We have samples of different rocks and minerals sitting on the shelves, which sometimes get a bit dusty. It is not a very large space, but it serves us well enough for what we do. We usually have the windows open to catch a breeze, though that brings in the noise from the street. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It is a straightforward operation without any bells or whistles. We’ve been at this plot for a while now and we know the neighborhood people pretty well. If you are walking down Gurudwara Road, you’ll see our small sign out front near the gate. There’s always someone here from morning until late evening.
