Rvs Bricks is located in Telia Chak. If you know the Shikaripara area, we are right near the bus stand, so it’s easy for people to find us even if they aren't from around here. We’ve been operating this brick kiln for a few years. It’s a local business, nothing big or fancy. We just make bricks for the people building houses nearby. The work is hard and depends a lot on the season. In the monsoon, everything slows down because the mud won't dry in the sun. But during the rest of the year, we are quite busy. You’ll usually find us covered in dust near the kilns. We don't have a big office or a reception desk. You just walk up and talk to whoever is there at the time. Most of the time it’s me or one of the local boys. We grew up in this village and decided to stay and start this business. It's better than moving to a big city where you don't know anyone. The bus stand nearby brings a lot of foot traffic and sometimes people just stop by to ask about prices while they wait for their ride. We don't use any high-tech stuff, just the traditional way of doing things that we learned. It works for us and for the people buying from us. It’s a steady life here in Telia Chak. We keep the fires going and keep working.
