Jaiswal Electronics

We are set up on Bhagalpur Road, right in the Bhagalpur area and quite close to the Tata Showroom. It’s a good spot because everyone knows where the showroom is, so we just tell people to look for that. Jaiswal Electronics has been part of this street for some time now. The front of the shop is usually open to the street, so we hear all the horns and the people talking outside. It can get quite dusty with all the traffic passing by, so we have to wipe down the display units pretty often. Inside, we have a variety of electronics and parts stacked up on the shelves. It’s not a fancy showroom like the one down the street; it’s more of a practical shop where you come to find what you need for your home. We have a small back room where we store the bigger boxes and some of the older stock. The floor is just plain tiles, and we have a small temple in the corner where we light incense every morning. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit in the dark for a bit, waiting for the backup or for the lights to come back on. We know most of our regular customers by name and usually stop for a chat when things aren't too busy. Most days are predictable, which is fine by us as we handle the usual crowd.
