Sadaiah Carpentry Works

Our workshop is located at House Number 1-145 in Mallampally, which is part of the Duggondi area. Sadaiah Carpentry Works is a place where there is always the sound of sawing and the smell of fresh wood. We’ve been working here for a long time, and the building itself is quite old. There is sawdust all over the floor no matter how much we try to sweep it up. We have all our tools laid out on heavy wooden benches that have seen many years of use. Mallampally is a quiet village, so we know pretty much everyone who walks past the door. People from the nearby farms often stop by to ask for help with fixing a door or making a new frame. We don't have any fancy marketing or a big sign, just our work and our reputation in the local area. The sun comes in through the big open door in the mornings, which is nice until it gets too hot in the afternoon. We usually take a long break when the sun is at its highest. Duggondi is a bit of a distance from the main city, so it’s peaceful here. We have a small radio that plays local songs while we work. It’s a simple life, working with our hands and making things that people in the village need. We just keep at it day after day until the light fades and it's time to close up.
