Dombivili East is always humming with people, and Kalyan Shil Road is probably the busiest part of it. We are located on the third floor of the Sudama Commercial Complex. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift isn't working, which happens more often than we’d like. Home Electronics Pvt. Ltd. is where we handle all sorts of gadgets and components. From the third floor, you can see the sea of umbrellas during the monsoon and the endless line of rickshaws below. The workspace is filled with the smell of solder and the bright glow of desk lamps. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling filled with boxes of capacitors, resistors, and boards. It’s a bit of a maze, honestly. We spend a lot of time hunched over benches, fixing things or putting new kits together. It’s quiet work, usually, unless someone has the radio on. We don't have a fancy showroom; if you come to see us, you’ll just see a bunch of people in shirts with rolled-up sleeves working under fluorescent lights. It’s a practical environment. We know our regulars by name, and they know we’ll give them a straight answer about whether something can be fixed or not. We’ve been in this complex for a while, and even though the walls are a bit stained and the floor is worn, it’s a good place to spend the day and do some solid technical work.
