Dahod Pottery Producer Company Limited

Our group is based over in Dahod, right near the T.D.O. office in the Adhirar area. We share a space with the Sectional Balvikas, which makes us pretty easy to find if you’re walking through town. We are a pottery producer company, so we are all about the local craft and the people who make things with their hands every day. It isn’t a high-tech operation by any means. We have clay, wheels, and a lot of hard work going on most of the time in the background. The office part of it is just where we handle the books and talk about where the pots are going next. It gets a bit messy sometimes with all the paperwork, but that’s just part of the trade. Everyone in the group has their own way of doing things, and we try to respect that. We aren't trying to be some big factory that churns out the same thing over and over. We just want to keep the local tradition alive and make sure the potters get a fair shake for their labor. You can usually find a few of us sitting around discussing the latest kiln load or the price of materials. It’s a slow and steady kind of life here in Dahod. We don’t have fancy brochures to hand out. If you want to know what we do, you just come by and see the work for yourself. It’s real and it’s what we’ve always done for the community.
