Hotel Gangasagar

Hotel Gangasagar sits right on Nagoa Beach Road here in Diu. We are just down the way from the Radhika Hotel, so it is easy to find us if you are heading toward the water. Living out here by the beach is a bit different than the city. Things move a little slower. We started this place because we liked being near the coast. Our building is not very big, and we don’t have those fancy elevators or spas. It is just a simple hotel for people who want to be near Nagoa Beach without spending too much. Most days, we are busy sweeping out the sand that guests track in from the road. The 362520 area is a popular spot for visitors, so we see all kinds of people. Some stay for a weekend, others just for a night. We do the work ourselves, mostly. It is a lot of laundry and checking people in. We don't use any corporate scripts when we talk to guests. We just say hello and show them to their room. Sometimes the salt air makes things a bit rusty, so we are always painting or fixing something up. It is a quiet life for the most part, except when the tourist season kicks in. We like the location because you can walk to the beach in just a few minutes. It's just a plain, honest place to sleep after a day outside.
