S. R. Import & Exports

We are over on Kannivadisamyar Street. It is a bit of a narrow street, but it is where S. R. Import & Exports has been based for some time now. Our building is just a normal one, nothing that really stands out to people passing by. We do both imports and exports from this location. That means some days we are busy unpacking stuff and other days we are packing it all back up to ship out. It is a lot of physical work. We have a small team of guys who do most of the heavy lifting and loading. The office part is just a couple of old desks near the front entrance. We keep our records in big ledgers and on an old computer. It is not the most high-tech setup you will find, but it has served us well enough over the years. We know most of the other business owners on the street. We often help each other out if someone needs a hand with something or needs to borrow a tool. It is a good local community to be a part of. We do not really have a set routine every day. Every morning is a bit different depending on what shipments are scheduled. Sometimes we are here working late into the night. Other times we can head home a bit earlier if the work is finished. We just do what needs to be done. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there.
