If you go to South Anna Nagar in Palani, you will find us at No 58. It is a straightforward kind of place. We handle both exports and imports from this small office. Palani is known for other things, but our focus is just here doing the trading work. The building is older, but it serves the purpose. There are a couple of rooms for the staff and a small area where samples of the goods are kept. Most of our day is spent looking at shipping schedules or talking to people at the customs office. It is not always easy, especially when paperwork gets stuck. This spot has been our home for a while now. The street is usually busy with people going about their business. No big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters exists here. Writing down what needs to be done and doing it is the routine. Sometimes staying late is required when a shipment is arriving. It gets quiet in the evenings here, which is nice. All the other shop owners on the street are familiar faces. It feels like a community. A variety of products are handled, nothing too specific, just whatever the market needs. Staying organized and keeping our heads down is the goal.
