Near And Dear Exports

We’ve been running Near And Dear Exports out of No. 1/ 145 West Street in Markkampatti for a good while now. It’s a pretty quiet area, mostly just local folks going about their business. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we get the work done. Mostly, we spend our days sorting through items and getting them ready to be sent off. There are usually three or four of us here on a normal day. We don't really do the big corporate thing, it's just not our style. Sometimes the truck gets delayed or the weather makes things a bit slow, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. We’ve got a small desk near the front where we handle the documents. It gets a bit dusty with the windows open, but we like the fresh air. Markkampatti is a small place, so everyone knows where West Street is. We don't have a fancy lobby or coffee machine. Usually, we just have tea from the shop down the road. We try to be careful with everything we pack because it’s going a long way. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and checking labels over and over. We’ve stayed in the same spot since we started. It suits us just fine. No need for a big city office when we have everything we need right here.
