Merchandiser

Merchandiser is a small operation we run from Apper Street in Shanmugapuram. We are located in Palani, which is part of the Dindigul district here in Tamil Nadu. Our address is at number 19. It is a local spot and everyone around here knows the street. We do various kinds of trading and sourcing for goods. It is a very hands-on job. One day we are checking samples and the next we are dealing with transport and talking to drivers. Being in a place like Palani means we see a lot of people passing through every day. We don't have a big office with glass walls or anything. It is a basic room with some desks, some shelves for samples, and a lot of phone calls to make. The work is mostly about connecting people who have things with people who need them. We have been in this spot for some time now. We like the neighborhood because it is close to the main markets and easy to get to. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just wait it out and get back to work. We don't use big words to describe what we do here. We just buy and sell and make sure the items get to where they are going. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We know the local transporters well, which helps with moving goods across the state.
