Raiganj Greening Farmers Producer Company Limited is a group of us who came together in Rupahar. Swarup Chanda and Bhubankanti are the ones who really got things moving. We’re out in Raiganj, in the U/D district. It’s a producer company, which basically means we’re a bunch of farmers trying to help each other out. Farming on your own is tough, so we figured we’d be better off as a team. We deal with all sorts of crops, trying to keep the land green and productive. It’s a lot of meetings under the trees or at someone’s house to decide what to plant next. We don’t have a big fancy office building; we mostly meet where the work is happening. Raiganj has its challenges, like any other place, but we know the land here. We share tools, advice, and sometimes even the labor when things get busy. It’s not about being a big corporation. It’s about making sure our families and our neighbors can keep doing what they’ve done for generations. We’ve had some lean years, and the weather is always a gamble, but being together makes it a bit easier to handle. We’re just local folks from Rupahar trying to keep our farms going and our community strong. It’s honest work, and we’re proud of what we do here in our corner of the world.
