We set up Multi Green Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited right here in Islampur. Our office is easy to spot because it is near the U.B.I. branch. We are located at Jahir Raihan’s place, he is the son of Moazzem Hossain. It’s a local operation through and through. Most of our days are spent talking to farmers about their crops and figuring out how to get things moving. It isn't always easy. The roads get busy and the office can get a bit loud with people coming in and out. We aren't some big firm from the city. We are just people from around here trying to make farming work better for everyone involved. We deal with the seeds, the produce, and all the logistics that go into it. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes the hours are long, especially during harvest time. We don't have fancy furniture or big screens. We just have some desks, some chairs, and a lot of registers. People stop by to chat or settle accounts all day long. If you're walking near the bank, you might see us. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know the neighborhood well. It’s a practical way to run things. We focus on the dirt and the plants more than anything else. That is how we like it. Just honest work with neighbors we’ve known for years.
