Agrifood Crop Science Llp is situated in the village of Kalagachh. We are near the Kalagachh Bus Stand, which makes it easy for people to find us. The post office is Chopra and we are in the Uttar Dinajpur area, 733216. Being in a village means we are right where the action is. We see the fields every day when we walk to work. Our office is a simple building near the road. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers who stop by after getting off the bus. They have a lot of questions about their crops and what kind of science can help them get a better yield. We don't use too many big scientific words because that doesn't help anyone. We just explain things in plain English or the local language. It gets quite dusty here because of the bus stand and the trucks passing by. We are always wiping down the counters. The team here is small, just a few local folks who know the land. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just have our knowledge and some products to share. Some days are very busy, especially during planting season. Other days we just sit and watch the traffic go by while we wait for the next person to come in. It is a quiet life but we like it.
