Mahabir Fabrication

Our shop, Mahabir Fabrication, is located on Gola Ghat Road, right across from the Aluminum Factory in Dimapur. We’ve been working from this location for quite a while now. It’s a pretty basic setup where we do all kinds of iron and steel work. Most of our day is spent welding gates, making window grills, or building iron frames for shops. It’s a noisy place with the sound of grinders and hammers going all the time. We don't have a showroom, so we just keep some of our finished work out near the front so people passing by on the road can see it. Dimapur can be a busy and dusty place, and our shop is open to the air, so things get a bit messy. But we don't mind that as long as we get the orders finished. We are just a few guys working together. We take measurements at people's houses and then come back here to do the actual fabrication. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and sometimes the sparks from the welding can be a bit much, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't use any fancy language to sell our work. People usually just come to us because they’ve seen what we made for their neighbors. We try to be fair with our prices and just keep the business going one gate at a time. It’s simple work and we stay busy with the local demand.
