Our place, A.S Precision Machines, is located on Bhadla Road on the Khanna side of Mandi Gobindgarh. Since we are in the heart of the steel town, there is always a lot of heavy traffic and iron dust in the air. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time, and the building has seen better days, but it serves its purpose. Inside, the machines are the main focus. They are loud and take up most of the room, so there isn’t much space for anything else. We spend most of our hours making sure everything is running right and that the measurements are as close as we can get them. It’s not always easy work, and sometimes things go wrong, but we just fix it and keep going. We don’t really use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make machines and parts for people who need them. Most of our customers are from right here in the Mandi or the nearby areas. They know the way to Bhadla Road and usually just stop by to see how their order is coming along. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a couple of chairs if someone needs to sit down for a minute. It's a simple, local setup and we like it that way. We just want to do the work and go home at the end of the shift. No one here is looking for fame, just a job done well enough to keep going.
