Shevantai Fabrication

Down at Plot No-44 in Sai Baba Colony you will find us working most days. We are right near the Dhule Bypass in Paldhi so there is always noise from the trucks passing by. It is a decent spot for a fabrication shop because it is easy to find. Inside the shop there are always piles of metal pipes and sheets waiting to be cut or joined. We spend a lot of time measuring things twice because mistakes just waste material. It is a bit dusty and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep. Working with metal takes a toll on the clothes and the boots but we are used to it by now. People from the colony come by with different requests. Some need a simple rack made and others have bigger projects in mind. We just take it one piece at a time. The heat from the welding torches makes the air heavy but we have a couple of fans going to keep things moving. Shevantai Fabrication is a small operation really. It is just about getting the job done so the customer can take their stuff home. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just a desk with some papers and the workshop out back. It is steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down near the bypass. We try to finish everything on time even when the machines act up.
