Our workshop is over on Shahada Road, specifically at Plot No 29 in Badri Colony. We’re out here in Taloda, doing engineering and fabrication work. It’s a lot of welding, cutting, and fitting metal together. The shop is big and open, which is good because some of the stuff we build takes up quite a bit of space. We’ve got the usual tools and machines you’d expect in an engineering place. Most of us here grew up around machines and we don't mind getting our hands dirty. It can get pretty hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. We take on all sorts of fabrication jobs, some big and some small. We aren't much for fancy titles or corporate meetings. We just look at the drawings and get to work. Being in a place like Taloda, you get to know your customers pretty well. They know they can find us at the plot if they need something fixed or built from scratch. Sometimes we have to wait on materials to arrive from the bigger cities, which can be a hassle, but we make do. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, do the engineering work, and try to make sure everything is solid before it leaves the yard. There is always the sound of grinding or hammers hitting metal, but that is just the sound of us working.
