Elegant Creations sits right behind the Gurudwara on the Mumbai-Agra Rd. It’s a spot that most locals know because of the landmark. We’ve been back here for a long time. The traffic on Mumbai-Agra Rd is always loud, but once you step behind the Gurudwara, it gets a bit quieter. That’s where we do all our work. It’s not a huge space, but we make it work for us. Elegant Creations isn't some big factory. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get made by hand. We have our benches set up and our materials stacked against the walls. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty. We don’t mind. It’s just part of the job. Most of the people who work here live nearby. We walk or take the bus. There’s no fancy dress code here. We wear what’s comfortable for working. The Mumbai-Agra Rd keeps us connected to everything else, but we like being tucked away behind the Gurudwara. It feels like our own little corner. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day. If someone stops by, they usually have to shout over the noise of the machines. We’re used to it. It’s just how Elegant Creations operates. Nothing too complicated, just honest work every day. We try to stay busy and keep our heads down. It seems to work out for us and we're happy staying where we are.
