Assure Computers

The shop is right here in Poonam Tower, which sits directly on the 80 Feet Road. It’s a loud spot because of all the traffic going by all day. You can hear the horns and the buses from the front window. I started Assure Computers because I’ve always been around this neighborhood and it seemed like a good place to set up. We have a lot of stuff piled up inside, mostly parts and old monitors we haven't gotten around to moving yet. The floor is a bit scuffed from moving boxes around. It isn't the cleanest place you'll ever see, but we know where everything is. 80 Feet Road gets really crowded in the evenings, so I usually try to finish up before the worst of the rush starts. Sometimes I stay late if there's a lot to do, and the building gets very quiet after the other offices close. The stairs in Poonam Tower are a bit narrow, so carrying heavy gear up and down can be a bit of a workout. My desk is right near the back where it’s a little cooler. I drink a lot of tea while I'm working. Most of the people who come in are locals who live in the apartments nearby. We don't do much fancy talking here, just plain talk about what needs doing. It's just me and the fans humming most of the time.
