Maa Computers

Maa Computers is located right in front of the Congress Compre School on the Angul-Shankar Road. Because we are right across from the school, it gets really noisy when the bells ring and all the students come pouring out. We get a lot of kids coming in to print out their homework or to ask about some gaming part they saw online. The Shankar Road is always busy with traffic, so there’s a constant hum of buses and bikes going past our front door. The shop is small and usually smells a bit like warm electronics and ozone. We have computers set up along the walls and a bunch of spare parts in the back room. I spend a lot of time cleaning finger marks off the glass counters. It’s a practical place. We don't have any big mission statements or anything like that. We just fix PCs and help people with their digital stuff. Sometimes a parent will come in looking stressed because their kid's laptop won't turn on right before a project is due. We do what we can to help them out. It’s a local business through and through. We know the teachers from the school and the people who live along the road. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve been here for a while now and the school across the street is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us.
