Luckdeep Services Private Limited is based out of a plot in Gadasila Sadar, which is a bit of a quiet spot out in the Dhenkanal district. We are set up at Pratima Sahoo’s place, Plot No-3437. It isn't one of those big, shiny office buildings you see in the city with glass windows and security guards at the front. It’s just a regular building where we get our daily work done. Most of the time, we’re just sitting at our desks dealing with whatever tasks have come in for the week. The mapping around here isn't always the best, so people sometimes have a little trouble finding the exact khata number, but we’ve been here long enough that most of the locals can point you our way if you get lost near Indipur. The office gets pretty warm in the summer months, so we keep the ceiling fans going all day long. We don’t have a fancy reception desk or a dedicated person to answer the phones. Usually, whoever isn't busy just picks it up or says hello when someone walks through the door. It’s a small group of us here. We mostly just focus on the paperwork and the services we provide without making a big deal out of it. We take our lunch breaks together when things aren't too frantic, usually just eating what we brought from home. Dhenkanal is a decent place to be based, even if it feels a bit slower than the bigger cities in Orissa. We just keep our heads down and work.
