We operate out of Nagakhelia in Dhemaji, right at Ratul Dutta’s place. This isn't a big corporate setup with a lot of staff. It is just us, a group of people from the area who wanted to do something together for our farms. Dhemaji is a place where you have to be tough because the weather doesn't always go your way. We spend most of our time dealing with the actual agricultural work, like checking on the fields and making sure the supplies are ready. We do not have a marketing team to write fancy things about us. We just talk like normal people. If the harvest is good, we are happy; if not, we figure out what to do next. It is a lot of trial and error. We try to help the local producers get their stuff to where it needs to go without too much trouble. Sometimes the logistics are a nightmare because of the local roads, but we are used to that. We are not trying to be the biggest; we are just trying to be useful to the people around here. Folks know where to find us if they need to talk about seeds or selling their produce. We keep things simple and honest. There is no corporate fluff here, just the daily reality of farming in Assam and trying to make it work for everyone involved in our little group.
