Vinayak Motor Driving School

Out here on Gokul Road in Hubli, the traffic can get pretty intense at times. That’s where we spend most of our days at Vinayak Motor Driving School. We have our small office here in the 580030 zip code area of Karnataka. Learning to drive is something everyone around here eventually has to do. We take people out in the cars and show them how the gears work. It takes a lot of patience, mostly because people get nervous when they first sit behind the wheel. We see all kinds of students, from young kids just turning eighteen to older folks who finally decided it was time to learn. The roads around Hubli have their own rhythm. You have to watch out for the cows sometimes and the heavy trucks on the main road. Our cars aren't brand new, but they work fine and they have the extra pedals so we can stop if something goes wrong. We spend a lot of time sitting in the passenger seat. The office is just a place to handle the forms and talk about the license process. It isn’t fancy at all. We have some posters on the wall showing road signs. Most of our work happens outside on the pavement. We’ve been part of this community for a bit, and people usually find us through word of mouth. It's a steady job, teaching one person after another. We just try to stay calm and help everyone get their license.
