Our place is right on PB Road in the Vivekananda Nagar part of Vidyagiri. Being in Dharwad, especially near the college areas, means there is always a lot of energy and people moving around. The office sits on the main road, so it gets quite a bit of dust and noise from the trucks passing by, but that is just part of being in this location. We have a simple setup inside with a couple of computers that have seen better days and a big calendar on the wall to track all the bookings. Svk Travels is mostly about keeping things moving. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that hanging up. We just have a list of phone numbers and a bunch of vehicle keys. The staff here is just a small group of us who have lived in Dharwad for years. We know the shortcuts and the best ways to get around the traffic on PB Road. It is a busy atmosphere, and usually, someone is shouting over the noise of the traffic to be heard on the phone. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. It is a practical business without any extra frills. People come to us because we are right there on the road and easy to spot. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the cars are out on time.
