Our office is located at 22 Pavan Park in the Sadhankeri area of Dharwad. It is a quiet part of Karnataka, which is a bit different from the usual places you might find an office for a cruise line. We use this space to talk to people who want to work on ships or those who need information about the cruises. It is a simple house that we have turned into a workspace, so it feels very local and not corporate at all. We have a few desks and some computers where we spend the day checking schedules and sending emails to the USA. The garden at the front is a nice place to sit for a few minutes when we need a break from the screen. People from all over Dharwad come by to ask us questions or to bring in their job applications. We spend a lot of time explaining how the hiring process works and helping them fill out the forms. It is a lot of talking and repetitive tasks, but it keeps us busy. In the afternoons, it can get very quiet in the neighborhood. We don't have many employees here, so we all know each other well. We just try to keep the files organized and make sure we get back to everyone who calls us. It’s a steady way to spend the day.
