If you go behind the Axis Bank in Dharwar, you’ll find our little office. Surya Associates has been right here for quite some time. It’s a bit of a hidden spot, but it suits us because it stays a bit quieter than being right on the main road. We are just a few people working together on various projects. We don't have a massive staff or a big sign out front. Most of our work comes from people in the Dharwar district who have known us for years. We handle a lot of the paperwork and consulting that people find frustrating to do themselves. It’s not the kind of job that gets a lot of attention, but it's necessary. The office is small and sometimes we have to move chairs around just to have a meeting. We don't mind though. We’ve got our files organized in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. We don't use any fancy software or big corporate systems. We just use what works. Sometimes we are here late finishing things up, and other days we might close a bit early if the weather is bad. It’s a very relaxed environment, but we get the work done. People know they can just stop by and have a chat about what they need. We aren't trying to be some high-flying firm. We are just locals helping out other locals with their business.
