Star Kids Pri School

Our primary school, Star Kids Pri School, is located on 1st Main Road in Sampige Nagar. This is part of the Doddanayakana Koppa area in Dharwad, 580001. We are a separate branch from the play school, though we are in the same general city. Being on 1st Main Road means we get some foot traffic and people stopping by to ask questions. The school building is pretty standard for Sampige Nagar. We have several classrooms where the older kids have their lessons. It’s a busy place from Monday to Saturday. Dharwad has a lot of schools, but we are just one small part of the community here. We don't have a huge playground, but there is enough space for the kids to stretch their legs during the lunch break. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and cupboards full of books and supplies. The staff at Star Kids Pri School are mostly local people who have lived in Doddanayakana Koppa for years. We know the families and the shopkeepers around the corner. It isn't a polished or corporate environment. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when the monsoon is heavy, or a door might creak, but we fix it when we can. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids have their lunches. It’s a very practical, everyday kind of school. We are just here doing our bit in Dharwad, day in and day out.
