Pavit Tour & Travels

Pavit Tour & Travels is based over on 3rd Main Road in Bharti Nagar, Dharwad. We are actually connected to the Rabkavi side as well. Running a travel business means my phone is always buzzing at odd hours. People want to book a bus to Bangalore or need a car for a wedding in the village. It’s a lot of coordinating with drivers and making sure the vehicles are clean and have enough fuel. Dharwad is a busy place and the roads can be rough, so maintenance takes up a lot of my time. I sit in the small office most of the day, surrounded by maps and old registers. I don't have a fancy website or a marketing team; it’s mostly just word of mouth from people who have used us before. Sometimes a driver doesn't show up and I have to scramble to find a replacement, which is the most stressful part. I’ve been doing this for a few years and I know the routes around Karnataka pretty well. We aren't a big luxury agency, just a local service getting people where they need to go. We deal with a lot of luggage and sometimes grumpy passengers, but that’s just the nature of the work. I keep a stack of visiting cards on the desk for anyone who stops by. It’s a tiring job but it keeps the lights on and I like meeting different people every day.
