Not Currently Employed

Our spot is at No 60 on Haliyal Road in the Bhartinagar area of Dharwad. We are right beside Madina College, so there are always students walking past our gate and making a lot of noise between classes. The name we use is Not Currently Employed. It’s a bit of an unusual name for a place, but it reflects where we are at in our lives right now. We aren't a big business with a lot of customers. We are just here at No 60, trying to keep ourselves occupied with small tasks. Dharwad is a nice place to live, especially with the cool breeze we get sometimes. Our house is a simple one with a small front yard that we try to keep clean. We don't have a mission statement or any big corporate talk. We just wake up, have our breakfast, and see what the day brings. Sometimes we help out with things around the neighborhood, but mostly we are just here. It’s a very local, quiet existence. We don't have any staff or big equipment. Just a phone and some notebooks to keep track of things. We like it this way because it’s honest. We aren't pretending to be some big successful company. We are just people on Haliyal Road living our lives as best as we can. When it rains, the road outside gets quite muddy, but that is just part of living in this part of Dharwad.
