Nettur Technical Training Foundation

Our branch of the Nettur Technical Training Foundation is located in Dharwad, right on P.B. Road. The Asmita NTTF Technical Training Centre has been a fixture here for quite some time now. We are tucked away near the post office, which makes it easy to find. The daily routine starts early because the heat can get intense later on. We have a lot of floor space dedicated to machines and workbenches where the training happens. It’s not a fancy office; it’s a place for learning trade skills. I usually spend my time checking on the workshop equipment and making sure the students have what they need for their practicals. There’s a certain smell of oil and metal that hangs in the air, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We focus on getting the hands-on parts right because that’s what really helps people get jobs. Dharwad is a good place to be, and being on the main road means we see a lot of activity. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic with everyone moving around, but we manage to keep a system going. We don't spend much time on paperwork if we can help it; we’d rather be out in the lab showing how a lathe works. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. People come here because they want to learn a skill, and we do what we can to help them get there.
