Devi Refreshment

We’ve got Devi Refreshment set up in the Devi Building on Station Road in the Malamaddi area of Dharwad. It’s quite close to the Karnataka Bank, so people usually find us easily enough. We’ve been in this spot for many years now. The 580007 area is home to us. It’s a simple refreshment place, nothing fancy or very modern. We have some basic tables and chairs where people can sit down for a bit. It’s usually the same crowd coming in—people working nearby or folks waiting for a bus or a train since the station isn't far away at all. The building itself is quite older, and you can see that in the walls and the floors, but it’s got a lot of character and history for us. We don't have a big menu with a hundred different items. We just stick to the things we know how to make well. There’s no big corporate office behind us, just a few of us making sure the place is open on time and the water is always cold. Sometimes it’s a bit quiet in the afternoons, but things pick up when people finish their work and stop by for a drink or a snack. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. We just put the sign out and wait for people to stop by. It’s a steady way of life.
