Our office is in the Aryadurga Lodge Building, right near the Kittur Chennamma Circle. If you know Hubli, you know how busy KC Circle gets. We’re also quite close to the Old Bus Stand, so there’s always people moving about outside our windows. The building itself is an older one, and we’ve been here quite some time. It’s a bit of a maze inside the lodge building sometimes, but we’re on the ground level where it’s easy for anyone to reach us. We mostly deal with people who are staying at the lodge or those coming from the nearby market area. The noise from the circle is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We spend most of our time staring at the logs and taking calls from customers. It’s a small operation. We don’t have any fancy computer systems, just a notebook and a phone that rings more than it should. Sometimes the fan in the corner makes a clicking sound that drives us crazy, but it keeps the air moving during the heat. We know the streets around the old bus stand like the back of our hands. It’s a gritty part of town but it’s home for the business. We just try to get people where they need to go without making a big fuss about it. Just a regular local travel office doing its daily rounds near the circle.
