You have to head over to Old Hubli to find us at Al Alif Tours And Travels. We are on the first floor of the Girni Building, which is right on Kasbapeth Main Road. It’s a bit of an older building, and the stairs can be a little steep if you aren't used to them. We are quite close to the Old Hubli Bridge, so you can hear the rumble of vehicles going over it all day long. This part of the city has a different feel than the newer areas. It’s more crowded and the roads are narrower, but there’s a lot of life here. Our office is simple. We have some posters of different places on the walls, mostly just to cover up the spots where the paint is peeling a bit. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and making sure everything is ready for people’s tours. Sometimes we make tea on a small heater in the corner when it gets a bit quiet in the afternoon. People from the Kasbapeth area usually just walk in because they know us. We don’t do much advertising; word of mouth works better around here anyway. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the different trips, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we have a system. Just look for the bridge and the Girni building is right there. It is easy to find once you are in the neighborhood.
