Thirupathi Traders

Thirupathi Traders is located on Anjakara Street. We are very close to the Doppler Scan center, which is the easiest way to explain where we are to people. Anjakara Street is a busy little road with lots of different businesses. We mostly trade in steel and other metal materials. The shop is fairly simple, with some racks for the lighter stuff and a space for the heavy items. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in to see what we have in stock. It’s not a polished environment; there’s usually some grease on the counters and the floors are concrete. We don't have a mission statement or any of that, we just sell metal. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the street, and other days we can't keep up with the customers. We’ve been here for a good number of years now and we've seen many shops come and go. We stay because we have a good relationship with the people around here. If you need something for a repair or a small build, we usually have it tucked away somewhere. We don't do big fancy catalogs, we just show people what we have on the floor. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If the metal is here, we sell it, and if not, we try to get it. That’s just the way it works on Anjakara Street for us.
