Satyanarayan Rice Mill

Satyanarayan Rice Mill is located at 2/18 in Nadur, which is part of the B-Thurinjipatti post office area near Bommidi. It’s a rural spot, surrounded by fields and a lot of open space, which is exactly where you want a rice mill to be. The air around the mill is usually thick with the smell of raw paddy and the sound of the hulling machines humming away. It’s a loud place when everything is running, and you have to raise your voice just to be heard over the noise. We aren't a big industrial conglomerate; we are a local mill that deals with the crops from the surrounding farms. The floor is usually covered in a thin layer of husk or grain, and the workers are always moving bags around or checking the dryers. Our office is just a small room off to the side with a ceiling fan that clicks and a wooden desk where we keep the ledger books. There’s no fancy computer system here; we mostly do things the old-fashioned way because it’s worked for us for years. We don’t have a website or a sales team. People around here just know us and bring their grain or come to buy what we’ve processed. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but it’s what we do. We just keep the machines maintained and make sure the bags are filled and ready to go for the customers.
