Jayam College

We've been out here in Konangi Halli village for a good while now. It's a bit of a drive out from Dharmapuri but people find us okay. The college is right in B. Agaharam and most folks around here know the spot. It isn't some fancy high-rise place, just a regular campus where students come to get their degrees and figure out what they want to do with their lives. We have classrooms that get plenty of sun and some trees around the yard. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we try to keep things moving early. Most of our students come from the nearby villages and towns. They walk in or take the bus. We don't have all the bells and whistles you see in the big city schools, but the teachers show up every day and do their jobs. We keep the place clean as we can. There is a lot of paperwork to handle with the university stuff, which takes up a lot of time in the main office. People usually just drop by if they have questions about admissions or exams. We don't really do much online, it’s mostly just face-to-face talking here. It’s a quiet life in this part of Tamil Nadu. We just focus on getting the students through their courses so they can find work. Nothing more to it than that really. I guess it works for the families in this area.
