Ellaiamman Karimangalam Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Karimangalam. You can find us care of M. Santosh at D.No 11/25-2, Sf No 339/2B, right on Palacode Road. It is a local group we put together to help the agro farmers in this part of the region. Most of us are busy in the fields every day, so having a central place on Palacode Road to organize things is really helpful. We deal with all sorts of agricultural products that grow around here. It is a lot of coordination, making sure the seeds are ready and the harvest is handled right. We aren't some big corporate entity. We are just neighbors and friends who have been farming for years. Santosh’s place serves as the hub for our meetings. Sometimes these meetings get a bit loud when we are all trying to decide on something, but that’s just how it goes with a group of people who are passionate about their work. We face the same problems as any farmer, like the cost of electricity and the lack of rain. We try to share what we know and use our collective voice to get things done. It’s a practical way to manage the farming life in Karimangalam. We don’t have any fancy talk, just the daily grind of working the land and trying to make sure everyone gets a fair shake. It is a tough job, but it’s our job.
