Our place is pretty easy to find since we’re right opposite the bus stand in Harur. Aruna Agro Cropscience Private Limited is located at 11/280. Being near the bus stand means it’s always loud and there’s people moving about, which is actually pretty good for business. Farmers coming in from the surrounding Dharmapuri areas can just hop off the bus and walk right over to us. We deal with the science side of crops, mostly seeds and things that help them grow better. It’s a small shop with a back room for storage. We don't have fancy displays, just shelves full of what people actually need. I spend a lot of my time explaining how to use certain products to folks who’ve been doing things the old way for years. We aren't trying to talk down to anyone, just sharing what we know. Sometimes we run out of stock when a specific pest hits the area, and we have to scramble to get more. It can be stressful, but it’s part of the job. We keep a simple ledger and try to keep our prices fair so people keep coming back. It’s a local business, through and through. We know most of our customers by name and usually ask about their families when they come in. It’s just how things are done here in Harur. The bus stand area is always dusty, so we are constantly wiping down the counters. It’s just part of being in Harur every day.
