Our place is located at 1/506, Kumarakottam in Pattukonampatti, which is over in the Pappireddipatti area. We are an LLP that deals with various agro products, mostly whatever is being grown in the fields around here. The office is just a part of the building where we store some of the goods and handle the selling part. It’s a very local operation. We spend most of our days talking to the growers and seeing what they have ready for us to take. The roads around Pappireddipatti can be a bit rough, but we are used to driving them to get to the different farms. Inside our building, it usually smells like whatever we are currently handling, whether it is grain or something else. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and find one of us working. We started this because we wanted a way to manage the local products better. It is simple work, really. We collect, we sort, and we find buyers. Sometimes the market prices aren't great, and we have to spend more time on the phone trying to figure things out. We don't use any fancy systems, just our own knowledge of the local area and the people who live here. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just focusing on the products and the daily tasks that need doing to keep the business moving.
