Computer Servicing

Computer Servicing is our little shop located in Paiturbazar, right near the new motorstand. Being so close to the motorstand means there is always a lot of activity and noise, which we've just gotten used to over the years. We spend our days surrounded by old monitors, opened-up laptops, and tangled cables. It’s a bit of a cramped space, but it’s where all the work happens. People bring in their computers when they stop working or start making weird noises. Sometimes it’s just a lot of dust inside the fans, and other times it’s something more annoying like a broken screen or a hard drive that won't boot up. We keep a lot of spare parts in boxes under the counters, though it takes a minute to find exactly what we need sometimes. It’s not a shiny retail store; it’s a place where we get our hands dirty with thermal paste and tiny screws. The lighting inside could be better, but we have a couple of desk lamps that help us see the small circuits. Neighbors from around Paiturbazar often pop in just to chat or ask a quick question about their phones too. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything, just the work we do every day for the people who live and work around the motorstand. It’s busy, it’s dusty, and there is always a computer waiting on the bench to be fixed before the day ends. We just keep at it until the job is done right.
