K V Bricks

We are over at number 9, right near Thirupathi Temple Road. K V Bricks is a small operation, but we stay pretty busy most of the year. Being close to the temple road means we see a lot of people passing by, especially on festival days when things get really crowded around here. We just stay focused on our yard and the bricks. It’s a simple life. We don’t have an office with air conditioning or anything like that. Just a small shed where we keep the papers and a place to sit for a minute when the sun is too hot. The work is mostly about moving heavy things from one place to another and making sure the bricks are like they should be. We don’t use any fancy machinery that’s likely to break down every five minutes. It’s mostly manual work, which is how we’ve always done it. People in the neighborhood know us by name, and we like it that way. We aren't looking to expand into some giant company. We just want to keep things running smoothly at our spot on Thirupathi Temple Road. Every morning we open up, check what needs to be delivered, and start the day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble. The days are long but we enjoy the quiet moments when the temple bells ring and the work is finished.
