We’ve been here in Krishna Market for quite some time now, tucked away in Tiwari Gali. If you know where Madhulika Hotel is, we are right across from it. The lane gets a bit crowded during the afternoons, mostly with people looking for snacks or running errands. Our office isn't anything fancy. It’s a small space where we keep all the equipment and handle the paperwork. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We start our day early, usually around ten, once the shutters in the market begin to roll up. It’s mostly just us here, making sure things are in order. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the desk is cluttered with wires and old logs, but it works for us. People sometimes pop in just to ask for directions because they get lost looking for the hotel. We don't mind. It’s just how things are in this part of town. Most of the local shopkeepers know us by name, and we usually get our tea from the stall at the corner. It’s a basic setup, nothing like those big corporate offices you see in the city center. We just focus on getting the work done and heading home. There is always something to do, whether it’s checking the inventory or just tidying up the back room. We’ve been through many monsoon seasons here, watching the rain pour down the narrow alleyway while we stay dry inside. It’s a familiar routine every single day.
