Shri S.K. Food Products

We are over at Plot No. 74 in the Lala Quarter area of Govindpur. If you see the Reliance Tower, you are pretty much there. The building is just a standard industrial unit where we make and pack various food items. There is usually a smell of spices or frying in the air depending on what is being processed that day. It is a noisy place because of the machines and the workers talking over them. We have to be careful about the heat in the kitchen area during the summer. The space feels small when we have a big order to get out, and we end up stacking boxes almost to the ceiling. It is not a shiny corporate office. We have grease on our hands and flour on our clothes most of the time. The delivery vans have a hard time turning around in the narrow lanes of Govindpur, so that is always a bit of a struggle in the mornings. We just focus on getting the bags filled and the labels put on correctly. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend an hour fixing a belt or a motor. It is just honest work and we go home tired every day. The neighborhood is mostly other small businesses so everyone is busy doing their own thing. We have been at this plot for a while now and know the daily routine very well.
