Flying Tomatoez

You can find us on the first floor of Ozone Plaza, right on Bank More Road. We are directly opposite the Skylark Hotel in the Shastri Nagar part of Dhanbad. Being up on the first floor means people have to walk up the stairs or use the lift, but it gives us a nice view of the street below. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure the kitchen is stocked for the day. The plaza gets a lot of foot traffic, especially with the hotel across the way bringing in travelers. We aren't a polished corporate chain. We just have some tables, some chairs, and a kitchen that stays busy. The staff is mostly local guys who have been with us since we opened. We don't have any scripted greetings or anything like that. We just see who walks in and get them what they need. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of living in Dhanbad. We spend a lot of time wiping down menus and sweeping the entryway. It’s a simple setup in a busy part of town. We just try to keep the food coming and the tables turned over. Most nights we are here late cleaning up after the last customers from the hotel leave. We usually walk out to the street when the plaza is finally dark and quiet.
