Shree Shyam Caterer

We started Shree Shyam Caterer here in Dhanbad quite some time ago. It's located at Mig Plot 77 in the Housing Colony. Being near the bus stand and Maa Tara Mandir means there is always people moving around and it gets busy. We spend most of our mornings checking the kitchen supplies and making sure the stove is ready. Cooking for a big group of people is never easy but we figured out how to get things done on time. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to transport the food but we manage. My team and I just focus on the recipes we know. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical workspace where we prep vegetables and handle the big pots. Most people in the colony know us by now. It’s hard work being on your feet all day. We do weddings, small family gatherings, and whatever else comes up. We try to keep things simple because that is what people usually want when they are hungry. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when there are two events on the same day. We just load the truck and go. It’s been a long journey from when we first opened our doors. The area has changed a lot but the way we cook hasn’t changed much at all. We just keep our heads down and work hard to make sure the food is hot when it arrives. It's just how we do things here in Dhanbad.
