Om Chemical Works

Om Chemical Works is situated on the Grand Trunk Road, specifically on National Highway 18 in the Govindpur area. Being on the highway means there is a constant roar of traffic, mostly big long-haul trucks heading across the country. We are easy to spot because we are right near the petrol pump, which is where most drivers pull over to take a break. The facility itself is built for work, with thick walls and heavy doors to keep the noise out a little bit. It gets quite dusty because of all the vehicles passing by on the Grand Trunk Road, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the front area. Govindpur is an area where a lot of industrial activity happens, so we fit right in with the other shops and worksites along the highway. There is a lot of concrete and metal around here. We don't really have a garden or anything like that, just a functional space where the work gets done. Most days are spent managing the equipment and making sure everything is where it should be. The sun can be quite brutal out on the open road, so the shade under our main roof is a relief during the midday heat. It’s a very practical location for a business like Om Chemical Works because the access to the main road is right there. We are just another one of the many sites lining the NH 18.
