Ramiz Indane Gramin Vitrak

Out in Urmanirsa, things move at a different pace. We are the Ramiz Indane Gramin Vitrak, and our days are mostly filled with the sound of metal clanking. Those are the gas cylinders being moved from the trucks to the storage area. It is a rural spot, so we know most of the people who come by. They arrive on cycles or small carts to pick up their refills. Sometimes we have to go out and deliver them, which takes us down some pretty bumpy dirt roads. The office is simple—just a desk, a register, and some chairs for people to wait. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit. We spend a lot of time checking the seals and making sure the books match the inventory. It is important work because everyone needs gas to cook their meals. We don't have a website or a big social media page. Word of mouth is how people know us. If there is a delay in the supply, we have to explain it to the neighbors, which isn't always easy. We try to be fair and get the cylinders out as fast as they come in. The sun gets really hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break when it’s at its peak. It’s a practical business that serves the village. We’ve been here at Po - Urmanirsa for quite a while now and don't plan on going anywhere.
