Nirmala General Store

Our shop is located in the Ranibandh Godawari Complex right in Dhaiya. Being so close to the Indian School of Mines means we see a lot of students coming and going all the time. Nirmala General Store isn't anything big, just a local spot for people in the 826004 area to get their bits and pieces. We stock things like snacks, pens, and all the usual stuff you’d expect from a general store. The complex stays pretty active, so there is always some noise or someone stopping by to ask for change. We’ve been running this for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the school terms. When the students are away, things get a lot quieter around here. We handle everything ourselves, from stacking the biscuits to cleaning the floors at night. It’s a small space, so we have to use every bit of the walls to hang things up. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle to find a place to park, but we make it work. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where you can see what you’re buying. If you are near ISM, you’ll probably walk past us sooner or later. We just try to stay stocked up and keep the doors open for whoever needs something quick for their room or kitchen. It is hard work but it keeps us busy through the day.
